This renewed levy MAINTAINS the current tax rate of $58 per $100,000 of property value, generating $662,000 annually for critical facility maintenance and improvements. Importantly, it replaces the expiring bond issue levy for the high school, ensuring NO ADDITIONAL tax burdens. Your YES vote on March 19 secures a brighter future for Wayne Local Schools without increasing taxes, and it's for a duration of 5 years, focusing on the immediate needs of our community.

Dr. Sam Ison, as Wayne Local Superintendent, has played an instrumental role in shaping the excellence of our district. He provides a deeper understanding of the upcoming Permanent Improvement Levy and its importance. Under his leadership, our district continues to thrive and excel.
Kelley Bricker, an alum (Class of '05) and dedicated science teacher at Wayne Local Schools, brings to light the pressing needs in our classrooms. Our junior high science facilities have remained untouched since the 60s, and the high school rooms last updated in the 1980s. Teaching crucial concepts without updated facilities is a challenge we face daily.
